The HITZINGER Jet-Power 400Hz Diesel Driven GPU’s are driven by the aim to minimise the operating costs and to improve handling as well as maintenance, with innovative materials, modern processing technologies and ingenious engineering providing a power range of 30-60kVA.

The Jet-Power diesel driven GPU was designed specifically for the use with Jets and smaller air-crafts and is classed as the ‘Smaller Sister’ or is commercial counterpart. The Jet-Power is the smallest GPU designed to be both compact and quite, whilst achieving very low running costs. Using lower running speeds of 2000rpm means fuel consumption is reduced, maintenance is less frequent and running noise is extremely low. Together with all these benefits, the Hitzinger diesel driven GPU provides improved emissions with engines up to a Tier4/COMMs4 standard.

Optimised economy
With the engine speed lowered to 2,000 rpm and when used in conjunction with an extremely efficient 400 Hz alternator, the JET POWER generation manages to achieve greater economy, particularly as a result of reduced fuel consumption. This in turn leads to lower maintenance costs with extremely low noise emissions.

Increased efficiency
Thanks to the high efficiency of the alternator, independent of the load curve, aircraft can be supplied as economically as possible even under partial load.

Maximum serviceability
The modular arrangement of the switchgear simplifies all service work. A large-size soundproofing enclosure provides optimum access for servicing and maintenance.

Simplified user operation
The touchpanel of the control station offers intuitive user navigation. Easy to read even in strong sunlight, it is also dust- and water-tight and suitable for use in the most adverse airfield conditions. The resistive touchscreen is straightforward to use even when gloves are worn. For the rare occasion that the JET POWER is out of use, a protective flap gives the touchscreen display optimum shelter against wind and weather.
